Sent two unlabeled bottles to 50+ marketing executives, challenging them to identify the premium French and the basic Russian. The twist? Both bottles contained the same Russian 'garage wine,' poured from the same barrel into different bottles.

  • 70% believed the French was in bottle No. 2.
  • Over 20% thought it was in bottle No. 1.
  • Only 3 participants uncovered the truth.
